On Saturday April 18th I ran my first 5K. It was more like a walk/run. I decided last summer when I was 5 months pregnant and HUGE that I was going to make an effort to run a few of these the next year. I have 3 possibly 4 more lined up. I might be crazy but it is a lot of fun.
Spider man ran along with us in full costume. I took this picture with him for Eston. Before the race started we saw a shirt that read, "If you can read this, you just got passed by a grandma." Yeah, she passed me about a quarter mile into the race. That was a pick me up. I ran it in 46.20. I will try to better that the next time.
The only picture I have from the race is this picture of Spider man and I with my friends thumb. I don't have any pictures because I somehow deleted them from my phone. Kinda sad, since it was a big accomplishment for me.

That is awesome, and keep up the great work! Maybe you will love it and we can plan a marathon together in 2012 :)
Sorry Brynn! I obviously don't know how to use a camera phone. At least I didn't cover up your heads too! I had a ton of fun. Us AF girls want to make the Salt Lake one a yearly tradition. I think I'm going to do another one on June 6 in IF for Cancer survivors. I'm way impressed you have 4 more lined up...it's kind of addicting :)
YAY Brynn!!! You rock woman!!!!! Can I invite myself (with Tina Kay of course) to hit the SLC marathon tradition with yall, as well? We usually do it, but it hasn't worked out for the last 2 years. CONGRATS ON THE RUN!!!

Way to go girl! It's invigorating, huh? I love running, and my goal is to run one 5K a year for the rest of my life. You are awesome for wanting to run 4 just this year. I'm proud of you!
congrats brynn... that is a huge acccomplishment! you should feel great about yourself.
