I feel like it has been forever since I blogged last. So here is a quick look at what we have been doing.
6 weeks of summer programs (spending everyday at the park)
Summer literacy program
Sending Braden (Matt's brother) off on his mission.
Bear Lake trip with the Pedersen family (awesome)
Fourth of July Extravaganza
Samantha's 5th birthday
Youth Conference (for me)
6 day camping trip with Ottersbergs
Mohawk
Girls camp
and all the other little things that fill in the cracks.
Here are some pics of our fun summer (in no particular order):
Singing Girl's Camp songs around the camp fire (Peel Banana)
Sammie staying up with the big people camping. Didn't quite make it as long as the rest of us.
Papa Dallas took the twins out on a long long long walk. They crashed on his lap the moment he got back.
Doing evening crafts with cousins.
Sammie and Cami posing crazy. They are a week apart and had a great time together.
Double duty. The twins were jealous of the backpack and would fight over whose turn it was.
Everytime that Eston went on the boat he fell asleep. We wore that kid out.
Having fun with cousins on the big tube.
Lucy and Logan ended up spending three of the five nights in our sleeping bag with us.
Matt tried sporting the Mohawk for 48 hours. Isn't he hot? We got a few looks during the Pioneer Day celebrations.
Sammie and Eston enjoyed all the classes that they took this summer.
We went to Bear Lake and they had fun jumping over the waves.
Lucy wore herself out and fell asleep at lunch while at the cabin.
The fourth of July is always fun with the matching outfits.
Logan and Lucy discovered the joys of candy being thrown.
Sammie turned 5 in May and will start Kindergarten this year. We are both excited.

wow... fun summer! Looks like you are definitely wearing the kids out! And yourselves as well by the look of it. Matt doesn't look like he got much sleep with lucy in the sleeping bag.. haha! But i'm loving the mohawk! crap, we miss you guys already!
Matt's mohawk is awesome, and I love that you are a wild woman next to him with your bandana. Watch out, next the Clingers will be riding with their motorcycle gang. lol ;)
Had a great time spending most of the summer with you! Hope we can still play together during fall and winter!
