Super Bowl Sunday!!

Super Bowl Sunday and the Clingers

Number 1: Matt and I have never been to into sports. We both like to attend sporting events and see the game played live. Matt even learned how scary and crazed I get when I attend Hockey Games. We only go to these events once a year, maybe even once every two years. We don't usually have sports playing on TV at our house. I have always found that a blessing. I occasionally like to watch soccer on TV that is it. Number 2: Matt and I love the Super Bowl when it comes around. Every year you can catch the Super Bowl playing at our house. but not for the same reason everyone else does. We like the commercials. We turn on the Super Bowl and have it play in the background, as soon as they break for a commercial, one of us will holler to the other and we both come running to watch the commercials.

We are strange people what can I say. Enter Samantha!! Sammie some how inherited a sports gene that we have only recently seen come out. How did that happen? If we are flipping channels on TV to find a cartoon, Sammie will halt all flipping if she see any sort of sports game playing. We then usually have to talk her out of it for the other kids sake and move on. Matt took Sammie on a date two weeks ago and he said she didn't say much to him the entire time (shocking for her) because she was so caught up in the basketball game that was playing in the restaurant.

Let's just say that our 4 year old was counting down the days and time until THE BIG GAME. Matt and I ended up sitting and watching all 4 hours of football because of her. We had treats and a picnic in front of the TV and she was so sad that her team she picked did not win.
WE ARE IN FOR QUITE THE RIDE WITH THAT GIRL!!

The Legend of the Hammer Wammer

Once upon a time there were four kids. They were happy little kids, but would often get scared in the night time. One day while sitting around talking, they heard a noise. When asked what that noise was there dad (without missing a beat) said, "Oh, that is the Hammer Wammer." It was told that the Hammer Wammer lives under our house and holds our house up so that it won't fall into the ground. That is why our house makes noises at night, the Hammer Wammer is just shifting positions. The Hammer Wammer has evolved into something much more than a creature that holds up our house. The Hammer Wammer also eats green bugs, he is our friend, he keeps the night light on at night, he protects us from strange sounds and shadows.

The kids asked Matt to draw a picture of the Hammer Wammer. This is what we think this strange animal looks like:

If you see this animal do not run, I repeat do not run. Just say thank you and go about your day.

Have I mentioned that Matt is awesome and an amazing dad?

You Are My Everything

Not having Internet makes it hard for me to post on the specific day that I want to remember. We have to be happy with a few days late.

HAPPY 6TH ANNIVERSARY BABY!!

You are my everything . . . I am so IN LOVE with you.

Thanks for the 4 beautiful kids, but even more important . . .

Thanks for picking me. I look forward to forever.
