Sami entered the Reflections contest this year at school. She is in Second grade and decided that she would enter an art piece that Nana made with her last year. Sami passed the school level and made it to District.
The theme was "The Magic of a Moment". Sami made her art piece out of paint chip samples and pieced them together to form a Butterfly. Good Job Sami!!
Sami's school had a crazy hair day. Sami happened to be sick that day, but requested that I still give her crazy hair. She asked to look like a Who in Whoville since it was around Christmas time. She went to see the doctor like this and also to the store. She thought it was the coolest thing. Poor girl, you can see it in her eyes that she feels crummy.
