Easter Fun 2010

We had a good time this Easter. The Sunday before Easter the kids got to dress in their Easter clothes. The older two kids were excited to have matching clothes with the twins that Sunday. Lucy wouldn't sit still for pictures. She was either trying to escape or crying because we were making her sit there. When I finally was able to get Lucy to sit still for pictures Eston kept wiggling. So these were the best I could get this time.

I love how Sammie is trying to keep Lucy in her grasp.

The boys were funny. They both were excited that they got to stand by each other. Logan loves to say cheese.

The twins are at a fun stage. They love to give each other loves and kisses. That is when they aren't fighting or sitting on each other.

We went the next night over to Nana and Grandpa Jim's house for FHE and an Easter egg hunt. Lucy figured out the whole concept within seconds of the hunt starting. I still don't know if Logan caught on, but he sure loved the cheers and being able to shack the eggs. Lucy once again wouldn't sit still for pics. She was running away from the group.

This was our attempt at a picture of all the Utah grandkids. Most of the kids were good, but Lucy thought she would use the picture distraction to her advantage and sneak a couple of Eston's eggs. This didn't go over well with Eston.

After the hunt Nana gave an Easter FHE lesson and all the kids sat and listened very well to her.

We spent our actually Easter weekend up in Idaho with the Clinger Clan. We were able to go to Twin Falls for lunch on Saturday and see more family. We enjoyed listening to conference and with all the extra help Matt and I were able to catch some of Conference this year.

It is fun watching the Clinger family grow. The dynamics have changed a lot over the last few years. With a wedding and a few significant others hanging out. We usually have a full house when we all get together. Matt was able to attend the Priesthood session with his dad and 3 brothers on Saturday night. It has been a while since that has happened.

We sure love being able to spend time with our family. It's always a fun and crazy time.

LuLu Bell and her Instacare visits

Lucy has given us quite a bit of excitement lately. We have had TWO VISITS to the Insta-care in the last 3 weeks. The first was for Stitches. We were picking Sammie up from preschool and I had let the kids out to play while we waited. I started to load Logan up and was turning to get Lucy when she tripped over the curb and hit her head on an Asphalt rock laying in the gutter. It instantly started to gush. I took her to the Insta-care and she walked out with 2 stitches on her forehead.

Two weeks after this incident had happened. We were once again heading home from picking Sammie up at Preschool. Lucy started to cry and I thought that it was just because she was hungry. When we got home I went to take her out of the carseat and she wouldn't come, I tried again and then realized that her finger was stuck in a hole on the side of her carseat. We tried to get it out and couldn't get it to move. I had to take her and carseat into the Insta care. it took 4 nurses and a doctor working on it for 25 minutes to get it out. It is bruised and swollen but not broken. Now I am trying to get in touch with the manufacturer to figure something else out about the car seats.

Who puts a hole the size of an little finger in a car seat? Seriously!!
