Chuck E. Cheese

My kids went to Chuck E. Cheese last night for the first time. They had a blast. We went there to celebrate Dallin's (my brother) 28th birthday. Excellent choice. My kids did not stop running the entire time we were there.

Even Lucy and Logan got in on the action.

Logan wasn't a big fan of the moving car.

Sammie has informed us that we need to go back for her birthday in May.

March fun

We have had a lot of fun this month. These are just a few of the fun pictures that we have from it.
This is Lucy at 4 months old in Matt's beanie. . .

This is Sammie at 5 months old in Matt's other beanie

We went to Spencer's lacrosse game last week. We met up with Grandpa Burke there. While there Eston got his feelings hurt about something. Grandpa Burke jumped at the chance to hold and comfort the little man. This is one of those priceless moments that a picture can't capture the feeling behind it. It was a sweet moment seeing these two together.

Eston has been trying to share toys with Logan lately. I came in the living room to see Logan playing with Dusty and Turner from Handy Manny. It must have taken a lot for Eston to share with his "brunner."

Once again my babies love to help with the laundry. It is usually hitching a ride to wherever I am going to fold it.

My babies are growing so fast, I miss the newborn stage, but it is fun to watch them discover their hands and play with toys. We have had a lot of fun at our house.

Long time coming

Matt and I were finally able to get up to Idaho this weekend. It has been almost 8 months since we were there last. Which is difficult when we usually go up about every other month. While up there Matt's brother, Braden had his Eagle court of Honor. It's always fun watching family members reach great accomplishments. Way to Go Braden!!

Sunday afternoon at the Clinger household hasn't changed. After church and lunch, all of Matt's siblings gather in the living room for the weekly nap. I usually sit there and laugh at whoever happens to be snoring at that moment. Even Eston tried to join in this game.

I have some great in-laws. Whenever we go up there Matt's sister and brothers treat my kids like they are rockstars. My kids have so much fun attention they beg to stay there. Kim brought out her Barbie dolls from the 1980's along with the famous 1980's wardrobe and played with the kids. She even had a ken doll for Eston.

This picture is for Lindsay. You have finally had an object named after you. It is no Carly dog my friend. It is even better. It is a 1980's housewife Barbie complete with an apron and all. Sammie kept calling her Lindsay the whole weekend.

We were able to fly kites for a while. Matt and I were also able to have alone time while up there. Dallas and Brenda took all 4 kids so that Matt and I could go on a group date with his brothers and sister. It was a lot of fun. I hope we don't wait too long next time before getting up there again.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

We have had fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day this year. I didn't think that my kids would really get it and thought about just letting it pass quietly, but after taking them to the library for a few fun St. Patrick's day activities, they really got into the spirit. Sammie has been telling us all about Leprechauns and pinching people. She knows that you are supposed to wear green and thinks it is all so cool. Eston just goes along for the ride. We went to our Local Library for a little party they had. The kids got to meet these leprechauns at the wishing well.

They did face painting and each got to pick out what they had done.

Eston kept calling this inflatable leprechaun his "bunny (translation: buddy)."

Today we went to the Discovery Gateway and had many other fun activities that we participated in. After which I made green pancakes, green eggs, and green apple juice. Sammie and Eston loved it. So much for quietly letting this day pass.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

4 month check-up

Yesterday the twins had their 4 month check-up, even though they are now 4 1/2 months old.
As we were getting ready to leave Sammie informed me that Logan rolled over on his own without her touching him. So if I am to take a 3 1/2 year olds word, Logan reached that milestone today.

Logan weighed 14 lbs. 5 oz. and was 26 1/2 inches long. His head was 45.5 cm

Lucy was close behind him at 14 lbs. even and 24 1/4 inches long. Her head was 44.5 cm

Way to go Babes!!!

She did it!

Today is the day that Sammie finally learned how to write her name by herself. I'm proud of you princess!

Sunday Bathtime

This is the first time that Logan (and Lucy) took a bath in the big tub. Eston was so excited that he wanted to get in with his"bronner." It was kind of cute seeing my boys in there together. Logan just looked so big sitting in his seat.

After we had all four of the kids bathed, they were rolling around on the bed. It was kind of fun to see them there, so I had to snap some pictures. My kids love hanging in their towels after bath, even if we have them fully clothed.

Cuddlebug Lulu

Isn't she just adorable?

Today Lucy learned to roll from her back to front.

Stir Crazy February

People ask how I get out of my house with my 4 kids being so young and not go crazy. I tell them that if I don't get out of the house, that I would go crazy. We have had a lot of fun this month at home and out of the home.

Logan has joined the ranks of Matt's circus show. Matt has a variety of tricks that he does with the kids and Logan has now joined the ranks. I think we are going to make it big time with this stunt.

A couple weeks ago, I went with my sisters to the mall for the afternoon with all the kids. Sammie always wants to be with the girls and doing whatever they are doing. She is constantly bringing me clothes at the store and telling me that "they are her size" and "oh how cute is this?"

This is an adult shirt that Sammie found and told me that it was a dress. We let her try it on. Heaven help us.

I took the kids to walk on the moon with Neil Armstrong and gang. They spent about 30 minutes just climbing around on this exhibit at the Clark Planetarium.

I found a really cute hair blog and have been trying out some of the styles on Sammie.

We particularly enjoyed the heart style for Valentine's Day.

We celebrated Mardi Gras at the Discovery Gateway by letting the kids make their own masks. They did very well.

I have many chores and only two hands. So I try to multi-task were possible. Lucy was hitching a ride to the front room, so I could fold the clothes.

This is one of the warmer days that we have had in February. I think it got up to about 52 degrees this day. The kids were so excited to be outside. I think Sammie is outgrowing the tricycle.

Logan and Lucy love to be together and are very happy when cuddled up with each other.

Sammie and Eston have gotten rather creative in their play. They have tried to include Logan and Lucy as well. This is the 4 of them playing DUCK DUCK GOOSE. Once someone is goosed, Sammie and Eston get up and run in circles chasing each other and then come back to the circle to start over again.

The other game, Sammie and Eston like to play is KNOCK KNOCK.
Sammie: Knock Knock
Eston: Who's there?
Sammie: Cereal (or some other random word)
(then they both bust out laughing)
Someone else takes a turn and picks some random word, and they go back and forth for quite a while.

Lately, we have had the kids give up there beds whenever company comes. They get excited because it means that they get to have a sleep over in the front room.

I just thought it was cute.

And finally, the 4 monkeys in their Christmas Pajamas. I know it is February and I am talking about Christmas pjs. This is the first time they have been able to wear them together. The twins didn't quite fit in them till now.

We have quite the party at our house and enjoy when we are able to get out and do something fun, free, and enjoyable.
