Yes!!! You heard that right. Matt and I are expecting Clinger baby #3 in Nov. 08. We are excited and so are the kids, well, at least Sammie is. She keeps telling me that the baby in her tummy is making her sick (I don't know where she has heard that). I don't think Eston has any idea of the concept and that is ok. He loves babies and will enjoy it when it gets here. This baby is Matt's birthday present to me, since it is due on my birthday. However, due to the joys of C-Section, baby Clinger will probably be here during election week.

Wheeler Farm Fun!!!
For Sammie's little preschool, we went to Wheeler Farm to look at all the animals and take a hay ride. I don't know who had more fun, Eston or Sammie. Eston was over the moon with excitement. He lately has been learning his animal names and sounds. For Eston to see all the animals up close and making those noises, he was stunned. He would walk up to the cow, but if it moved an inch he would run for MOM safety. He loved the chickens and the sheep wouldn't stop baaing. Sammie enjoyed being there with all of her friends.

What's a trip to the farm without a tractor picture. The kids thought that they were pretty neat stuff.

ZOO confusion!!!
There are a couple things that Sammie has asked for over and over for the last few weeks. 1.) Sammie has been dying to go to the ZOO for the last few weeks and I have been too lazy to take her 2.) Play with Nana and Lindsay 3.) Spend time with Jake and baby Christine (her cousins) 4.) Play with Maren and Brookie, (my cousin's kids) who she never sees unless we have dinner at my Aunt Jana's home.
We made all her dreams come true in a 3 to 4 hour period. We went to the zoo and invited all of the above to come with us. It was a busy day and very crowded with strollers.
Eston took himself on a turbo tour of the zoo when we first got there, but after to scrapped knees in a 5 minute period he resigned himself to the stroller.

(Brookie, Jake, Maren, Sammie)
We had 7 kids, 3 strollers, and were quite the production going from location to location. And we only lost Sammie once for 7 minutes. Thanks Jana for finding her.

If there is anything that Sammie loves more than princesses, it is hanging out with girls close to her own age. She was in girl heaven and loved that Brookie and Maren would hold her hand.

All in all it was a great day at the Zoo and the weather was perfect. Eston, Sammie and I came home and we all took a 2 1/2 hour nap. It was great.
We had a lot of fun and were glad that Ashley, Jana, Cathy, Lindsay, and all the munchkins came with us. Oh, and thanks Ashley for the pictures.

APRON SWAP FUN!!!!!
I participated with a friend in an Apron Swap on this really cute craft website that I found a while ago. We had a lot of fun and think that we might do it again for the summer swap.
I had a bunch of people that were curious or interested in participating in the next time that they did the swap. Here is the link to the Feathered nest site , go check it out. Send an e-mail to Allie if you are interested in participating. Anyone can participate throughout the country or even outside the country.
This is the apron that I had made for the Spring Apron Swap. It was the first apron I ever made and it was surprisingly easy. I had a lot of fun.

Binky Trauma!!!

Yes, he is a character. We took this picture one night when he thought that he was pretty cool that he got TWO pacifiers in his mouth at once. Remember that face when I tell you about the trauma that we brought about a few short weeks later.
Earlier this week, Matt and I decided that we would take away Eston's well loved pacifiers. This was great in theory. We decided we were going to take the pacifier away over a month ago, but then he learned to get out of his bed, and then we went out of town, and then . . . . yeah, we kept putting it off. So Monday out of the blue we decided to quite delaying and do it. (We didn't want to have the kid that was 3 years old, sucking on a pacifier, and taking it out to speak an entire sentence.)
We were horrible. I went into Eston's room and grabbed the THREE pacifiers that we owned and started to carry them to my room to hide them. Eston was in my arms the entire time. He grabbed one and got to suck on it for about 20 seconds. After tossing the other two pacifiers in our room, I took the one in his mouth out and handed it to Matt. Matt was waiting for us with scissors. While Eston was in my arms, and looking right at Matt, Matt took the pacifier and snipped off the sucking part so that only the handle remand, and then handed it back to Eston. We didn't think any of this through and ended up giving that boy trauma for the rest of his life.
We went to lay him down and he screamed forever ( I can't give a real time, because Nana is reading this and will tell me we are cruel if he cried for even 5 minutes.) Matt went in to console him and he kept trying to get Matt to fix the pacifier that he had broke. Eventually, we realized that you shouldn't send your child to bed with the broken pacifier. After about 3 days he is doing better and we have minimal problems. Let this be a lesson to anyone reading this, that you should never be horrible like Matt and I were. Sorry Eston!!!
